Following a hot tip I found on a cycling forum, I picked myself up one of these MD80 spy cameras.
$10 or less on eBay... plus shipping. I had to buy a Micro SD card as well, but all in it was still under $30.
The instructions? Brutal. Some actual quotes from the manual:
- Whey you charge it, green light and red light will bright simultaneously, of which states are stillness
- Full to the folder with the use of small gimballed to the whole point of recording/monitoring functions
I tried... but eventually it made more sense to recycle the bloody thing and just fiddle with it!
For the price, the quality is not bad.
Note: the mounting bracket it came with jiggled too much, so I taped it to my handlebars, and didn't aim it very well... it was cold and I was in the middle of the ride, so I'm sure there are better videos to come!
Oh, and I don't know how to set the date. I'm sure it says how in the manual, but it's in Happy Lucky English so ... anyway I'll figure that out!
